This year’s WCVA Volunteering Conference focuses on that very subject, looking at new emerging expressions of volunteering – such as those encouraged by governments, or promoted by corporate sponsors or the internet. Keynote speakers from WCVA will offer insight into current and future trends in Welsh volunteering, while representatives from Rock Corp, Orange and Barclays will speak about corporate schemes encouraging people to volunteer. The afternoon session will feature workshops on subjects such as work experience in the third sector, the professionalisation of volunteering and improving practice
