Two new trustee toolkits to help get young people on boards!

We are excited to share with you two new resources that have been produced to support young people to get involved in governance.

1. A Toolkit for Young Trustees to help young people that want to become trustees to find out what a trustee is, how to get involved and some useful links
2. A Toolkit for organisations that want to involve young people as trustees to think about how to target roles towards young people and how to overcome barriers

These toolkits were inspired by an event in Trustee’s Week 2016 where young trustees shared their experiences of being involved in these roles. Thanks to our Youth Volunteer Advisors based in North Wales and their work with young volunteers and organisations in the area they have produced these two resources, which can be used by young people and organisations to prepare for youth trusteeships.
