#iwill campaign

It starts with you...

The #iwill campaign aims to get all 10-20 year olds involved in meaningful social action – this includes campaigning, fundraising and volunteering. At the same time as having a positive impact on communities, this social action creates a double benefit in helping young people develop skills and becoming more employable!

      #Iwill Campaign Background

Charity Step Up to Serve co-ordinate the campaign, which was launched by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the leaders of the main political parties in 2013.

There are so many ways of getting involved with this excellent campaign – social action can be completely flexible to what you are passionate about! You could be doing anything from sports coaching to informing people of the double benefit of social action to volunteering in a hospital – take a look at this short video for inspiration on different ways of getting involved!

#iwill is calling on business, education, voluntary and public sector organisations to promote the benefits of youth social action, improve the quality of opportunities and increase the number that are available to young people.

Currently 680 organisations from across the sectors have pledged their support to the campaign, and it continues to grow larger each day.

As a campaign centred around young people, #iwill puts young people at the centre with the focus on the 150 ambassadors, 11 of which are from Wales.

Get involved in social action today by signing up to a volunteering opportunity near you!
