Get involved

GwirVol welcomes involvement from organisations seeking to help us achieve our aims. You can get involved in a number of ways.

Tell us about your work and your volunteers:

You can submit news and events online to tell us what you are doing for youth volunteering in your area and we can promote it on our website, social media and in our newsletters. You can also send us stories about your volunteers.

Contact us and start telling us about your work.

Remember to follow us on Facebook at & and Instagram at @MillenniumVol, tag us on Twitter @GwirVol @MillenniumVol

Develop volunteering for young people in your organisation.

There are thousands of young people looking to give their time to organisations across Wales, each one looking for the right role in an organisation where they will feel valued and like they are making a difference. If you feel you could develop appropriate and exciting roles for young people have a chat with one of our local Youth Volunteer Advisors {link this} who will be able to guide you on how best to develop good quality roles for young people.

Deliver the Millennium Volunteer Award to reward your volunteers contributions.

If you involve young people aged 14-25 in your organisation and would like to formally recognise their contributions your organisation can become a Millennium Volunteer Delivery Partner. To find out more visit
