  1. Please read the guidance carefully
  2. Ensure you answer the questions clearly
  3. Don’t assume prior knowledge of you organisation or activities.
  4. Only give us information we ask for.
  5. Explain any abbreviations or jargon.
  6. Stick to the word maximum if there is one.
  7. Ensure your budget is clearly broken down. This means showing how you arrived at your figures. Start from zero and work out what you need rather than starting with the maximum you can apply for and working out a budget to fit this.
  8. Ensure any expenses fall in line with the expense policy
  9. Enclose all documents required. Any documents not submitted may result in a delay in your application being assessed and if they are not received before the grants advisory panel meets your application will be deemed ineligible and will not be considered by the panel.
